What’s the difference between Mentoring and Coaching?
At first glance, mentoring and coaching may seem similar but there are some differences. Mentoring is the direct transfer of experience and knowledge from one person to another. The mentor has achieved success and shares their experience. Coaching is usually task or performance-focused. A coach is likely to set or suggest goals in order to improve a particular performance.
